Sneha Gharu won the Bronze medal in Delhi State Taekwondo Championship

Sneha Gharu of XI B participated  in the 35th Delhi State Taekwondo championship 2018 held at Thyagraj stadium on 25 and 26 July and won a bronze medal 'under 67kg' weight category. She also participated in the Delhi NCR open Taekwondo championship  organised by Thunder Taekwondo Academy at  Nariana Vihar on 28 July, as a refree and was awarded an Appreciation memento.

Ratish Srivastava won bronze medals in the 500 mt rink race

Ratish Srivastava of II B participated in 19th roller sport race held at Chilla sport complex on 26 and 27 May 2018. He won bronze medal in the 500 mt rink race in the '6 to 8 years' boys category.

He also won bronze medal  in 500 mt rink race in the Lal Bahadur Shastri Memorial Sport Championship held at Yamuna sport complex on 16 and 17 June 2018.

Tagoreans shine in the District Taekwondo Tournament

Forty one students from classes III-V took part in the District Taekwondo Tournament held at Govind Puri, Kalkaji  on 16 July 2018. We are proud to announce that none of them came empty handed. Sixteen students won gold medals. Twenty students won silver medals and five students won bronze medals.

Tagoreans won the football tournament at Mira Model School, Janakpuri

The senior football team of our school participated in the inaugural football tournament held at Mira Model School, Janakpuri from 24 July- 01 August 2018. Twenty four schools from across Delhi participated in this tournament. The students made us proud by winning the tournament, beating Sanskriti School 2-0 in the final, and scoring more than 12 goals en route to the final. Arsalan Makhdhoomi of XI A was awarded the trophy for the "Best Goalkeeper" of the tournament.

Priyanandini Bali was declared Runners Up in Greens to Glory Junior Golf Tournament 

Sixth edition of Greens to Glory Junior Golf Tournament was held at Jaypee Wishtown golf club, Noida on 25 June 2018 . Priyanandini Bali of VI A competed against ten children in '11- 12 years' age category and was declared runner up.

Sneha Gharu won gold medal in Delhi State Olympic games

Sneha Gharu of XI B participated in the 5th edition of  student’s  Delhi state Olympic games on 24 June 2018 and won the gold medal in senior girls 'under 62 Kg' weight category. She has qualified for the nationals to be held in Punjab in the month of July.

Ronit Das won the silver medal in the 29th North-East ITF Taekwondo Championship

Ronit Das of X A participated in the 29th North-East ITF Taekwondo Championship held in Chandigarh from 25 to 27 May 2018 and won two silver medals in Individual sparring 'under 14 to 15 years' and team patterns.

Ranveer Singh Kochar represented Gurugram in the state junior chess championship

Ranveer Singh Kochar of III A represented Gurugram in the Haryana state Junior chess championship on 19 and 20 May 2018 and secured 20th rank. He was conferred a special trophy for his outstanding performance.

He also participated in the “Let’s Chess” championship in Gurugram on 10 June 2018 in the 'under 10' category and secured fourth position out of 16 contestants and won a cash prize of Rs. 600.

Charvi Mehla won the third position in 200 m free style swimming event

54 th Delhi state junior and sub junior aquatic championship was held at Talkatora stadium on 25 May 2018. Charvi Mehla of VII A participated in 200 m free style swimming event and won the third position.

Ranveer Singh Kochar won 14th position in district level Chess competition

District Chess Association Gurugram organised district level competitions in the month of April. Ranveer Singh Kochar of III A participated in 'under 7' category, competed against over 100 students and secured 14th position. He also received scholarship worth Rs 1,000

TIshya Juneja won 21st position in Chess Championship

Tishya Juneja of VI C participated in the Delhi State 'under 11' girls chess championship held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on 22 and 23 March 2018. She scored 3.5 points in 6 rounds and stood at the 21st position on the merit list.


Matthew Malsawmsanga has been selected for Special Olympics World Games 2019

Matthew Malsawmsanga of XII B (as partner) & Mr. Parveen Kumar, Physical Education teacher(as coach) have been selected in Special Olympics Unified Football for the first preparatory camp of World Games 2019 to be held at Abu Dhabi, UAE in March 2019.

Rakshit Tokas won the first prize at Delhi State Judo Championship 2017-18

Delhi Judo Council organised 38th Delhi State Judo Championship 2017-18 from 27th  to 31st  March 2018 at Dada Dev Judo Academy, Palam, New Delhi where Rakshit Tokas of class VII B won the first prize in 'under 40' kg category.

Shanmayukh Daine of III B won medals in Junior and Sub Junior Obstacle race

The Devil's circuit Junior and Sub Junior Obstacle Race was held at DLF Golf Course ,Noida on 17 March 2018. The Race includes two separate courses measuring 1.5 kms each which have unique age appropriate set of 10 Obstacles for the younger community to challenge themselves.

Himanshu Nandal secured third position in 6th National Blind and Deaf Judo Championship

Himanshu Nandal of class X A participated in 6th National Blind and Deaf Judo Championship Lucknow 2018 in sub-junior category. He secured third position and was the proud recipient of Bronze medal.

Rakshit Tokas & Tanvi Nandal won medals in Open Delhi State Judo Championship 2018

Open Delhi State Judo Championship 2018 was organized by Vikrant Sports, Yoga and Fitness Promoter Trust from 22 – 24 January 2018. About 350 children from all around Delhi participated in the event.

Rakshit Tokas of class VI B secured first position in 'under 40 kg' category. He has been awarded with Gold Medal and a Certificate.

Tanvi Nandal of class V A secured second in 'above 40 kg' category. She has been awarded with Silver Medal .
